Overview

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lease Compliance Analyst is primarily responsible for reviewing and validating data related to residential leases. This will encompass pre-acquisition due diligence and on-going review to support post acquisition operations. This position will be a key partner to the Acquisition Integration team, Accounting team and business leaders throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Facilitate bulk purchase lease reviews through internal resources or 3rd party partners.
  • Review standard lease forms for portfolio acquisitions.
  • Review bulk purchase lease reviews, identifying and resolving data anomalies, errors and omissions. 
  • Resolve data exceptions in timely manner and track the progress of exceptions through resolution.
  • Manage lease data upload process for acquisitions.
  • Research lease questions related to single home purchases.
  • Manage quarterly external lease audits.
  • Extract, consolidate and review in-place lease data.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced level Excel skills are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Real Estate is highly preferred.
  • At least two years of related experience, including lease and legal document review.
  • Ability to manage simultaneous projects with large data sets within strict timelines is crucial.
  • Above average ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Foster teamwork and mutual respect throughout the company.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data.
  • SalesForce or Yardi knowledge preferred.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment
  • May sit for several hours at a time
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers
