Business Analyst

Regular Full-Time


The Business Analyst will work under the suprvision of the Director of Business Analytics and will be primarily responsible for partnering with assigned department leaders to increase their effectiveness of managing their responsibilities. 


  • Analyze, design and preparation of customized reports including key metrics/scoreboards, ad hoc reports; responding to departmental inquires for data and analysis
  • Produce forward-looking, insightful and actionable performance analyses. Provide insightful business analyses and presentations (standard and ad-hoc) to and for department leadership and or senior leadership, which contribute to their effectiveness in managing and communicating operational and financial performance, opportunities and issues within their functional area
  • Analyze daily, weekly, monthly and other reporting, identify variances, trend changes and the like and communicate and or follow up on the observations made
  • Assist in the design and define criteria for standard and ad-hoc reporting and cooperate with Data & Reporting teams
  • Ability to design and write ad-hoc reporting
  • Assist in the necessary actions to manage exceptions
  • Assist business partners in planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Coordinate with the FP&A team on assisting the build out of budgets
  • Identify opportunities and partner with assigned departments to develop business cases, including sensitivity modeling, for department-specific or company-wide initiatives to evaluate the viability and associated risks of proposals
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability in working as a Business partner within a company
  • Experienced in working with various departments in nature meeting needs and deadline
  • Proven ability to manage data and extract exceptions for targeted performance management
  • Demonstrated agile critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Very strong excel skills and strong understanding of database and data management
  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and stress and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and details and meet departmental deadlines.
  • Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential.


  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
  • Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting from floor not to exceed 20 lbs.
  • Frequent near vision use for reading and computer usage.
  • Deadline driven role that can potentially be stressful at times (cardiovascular)
