Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Funding Coordinator is primarily responsible for gathering, documenting, reviewing and validating requirements related to real estate acquisition and funding with lenders. This will encompass pre-acquisition due diligence, issue resolution, legal documentation and funding preparedness. This position will be a key partner to the Acquisition Integration team, Accounting team and business leaders throughout the organization.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

  • Review incoming documentation, match it against criteria and record results. Maintain accurate data in data warehouse.
  • Identifying and resolving data anomalies, errors and omissions.
  • Upload certified documents to lender and maintain record of transfer.
  • Resolve data exceptions received from lender in timely manner and track the progress of exceptions through resolution.
  • Batch properties together to manage timing and prioritization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Intermediate level Excel skills are preferred.
  • At least one years of related experience.
  • Ability to work on simultaneous projects with large data sets within strict timelines is crucial.
  • Above average ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Foster teamwork and mutual respect throughout the company.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity of data.
  • SalesForce knowledge preferred.
  • Yardi knowledge a plus.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  •  
  • Primarily working indoors, office environment
  • May sit for several hours at a time
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers
