  • Overview

    The Capital Markets Analyst will work under the supervision of the VP of Finance. This role is crucial to help select assets for financing / potential securitization through analysis of portfolio statistics and underwriting cash flows, analyze Capital Markets activities and manage Capital Markets reporting.

    Responsibilities

     

     

    · Apply capital markets knowledge to develop capital strategies and achieve optimal results raising liquidity

    · Prepare data and forecasting presentations for senior management and audiences ranging from highly technical to those with limited technical expertise

    · Assist in the debt ratings, risk evaluation, and due diligence processes

    · Assist in the underwriting process to select and price assets for securitization, assess risk and model securitization cash flows

    · Ability to integrate rating agencies forecasting model into our own forecasting framework

    · Participate in preparation of management, board and roadshow presentations

    · Ensures proper documentation for investor reporting and regulatory filings on monthly, quarterly and annual basis

    · Supports the work effort to comply with debt covenants and regulatory filings

    · Ad hoc financial analysis as needed

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

    · Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in Investment Banking

    · Excellent verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills

    · Ability to manage, analyze and parse large quantities of data to find relevant information for use by multiple levels of management

    · Proven analytical and organizational skills

    · Experienced in working with various departments in meeting needs and deadline

    · Ability to effectively work with both internal and external partners

    · Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently and be detail oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met. Confidence to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality

    · Strong excel skills including extensive experience with vlookups, logic formulas, pivot tables, complex nested formula’s, macro experience a plus

    · Strong PowerPoint skills required

    · Salesforce.com experience a plus

    · Database skills a plus

    · Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential.
